Revisions
Revisions Module
The Japan Analytics Revisions Module shows the most recent initial forecasts or forecast revisions for all listed companies sorted by date of release. Revisions or initial forecasts can then be filtered by Period, Type, Market Cap and change in Revenue and Operating Income relative to the trailing twelve-month period, or both and by Revision Score.
The module will initially load the announcements made on the previous business day. Earlier dates can be accessed by scrolling the date wheel. The number of revisions or initial forecasts made on that day appears in the bottom right. Tap on “LATEST” to return to the most recent revisions day.
Revisions and Initial Forecasts and are presented in billions of Yen for Revenue/Ordinary Income, Operating Income/Ordinary Profit and Net Income. Where relevant and where data are available, the percentage change from the previous forecast and the difference from the trailing twelve-month period is shown.
Initial Forecasts are in italics and Interim Forecasts and Revisions are in a darker font color.
Revision Score
The Japan Analytics' Revision Score is a measure of the deviation of the most recent revision or initial forecast from the company’s previous forecast and/or its trailing twelve-month results. The score has a maximum of 20 and minimum of -20. Where there is insufficient data the score will be 0.
Filters
Announcements on a particular day can be filtered by Period, Type, Market Cap, change v. TTM or by Revision Score. Period Filters are either Annual or Interim. Type Filters are either Revised or Initial. Market Cap Filters are by market capitalization quartile as of the last business day. The change v. TTM Filters are by positive changes in either Revenue or Operating Income. Revision Score Filters are either positive (Score +) or negative (Score -).
When at least one filter is tapped on, the CLEAR button will change color and become enabled. Tap on the CLEAR button at any time to return to the full list of results for the day.

Sorting
Companies are initially presented in descending order of Market Cap. The list can be sorted by Code, Name or Change v TTM for Revenue, Operating Income and Net Income as well as by Revision Score. Sorting is possible by tapping on any of the sort arrows. Tap once again to reverse the sort order.
